1898年に発表された、H・G・ウェルズの有名なSF小説。

火星人がトライポッドという三本足の兵器で地球を侵略するというお話。

原題はThe War of the Worldsで”地球人の世界と火星人の世界との戦争”という意味になる。

A famous sci-fi novel released in 1898, by that one famous writer. It’s about Martians invading Earth using three-legged weapons called Tripods. A war between the Earthlings’ world and the Martians’ world ensues.
